Conscripted by an international bank (Credit Lyonnais Nigeria) just two years after NYSC to create and head their Corporate Affairs Department, Habiba Balogun keeps making history with her outstanding achievements as a woman. She learned very quickly that she could distinguish herself by working hard. Her strategy paid off.
Habiba Balogun is the CEO ofHabiba Balogun Consulting(HBC) an Organization Effectiveness and HR Consultancy with a specialization in Leadership Coaching and Team Facilitation. She holds certifications in Organisation Management, Training, Consulting and Coaching. She has worked with clients in the US, UK, Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Kenya and Nigeria (including the Niger-Delta) and has held various roles working in major industries which include Banking, Manufacturing, Import-Export, Marketing, Media, Education and Oil & Gas.
She is a seasonedprofessional whobelieves she was called to become a champion for the empowerment of women and girls to become leaders in all spheres of life. She has given herself to the cause of preparing working women to move up the career ladder.
She is a WISCAR (Woman in a Successful Career) and a member ofthe WISCARAdvisory Board. She is the Vice-President of The Nigerian Chapter of the International Coach Federation.
