Tokunboh George-Taylor

Tokunboh George-Taylor is the pioneering Managing Director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Nigeria which opened offices in Lagos in January 2015. Prior to H+K, Tokunboh spent over 14 years at integrated energy group Oando Plc. where she was a part of the Group Leadership Council and held the following positions along the way – Corporate Services, Corporate communications and Oando Foundation along the way.

As MD of H+K, she is responsible for driving growth in Nigeria and providing strategic insight and counsel to clients.  She is well versed in the business operating landscape in Nigeria.

Tokunboh draws upon over 26 years of experience and her areas of specialization include Public Relations, Community Relations and Branding. She currently manages various clients across the following sectors – Corporate Brands, Information Technology, Finance, Education, Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, FMCG, and Sports.

Tokunboh has worked with local, regional and global clients such as Canon, Visa, LaLiga, Eat’N’Go, Eko Atlantic, OVH Energy, GBfoods, Procter and Gamble and Shell on executive development and media training, internal and external communications, advocacy, strategic guidance, stakeholder engagement and campaign development.

Tokunboh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, USA.

She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Public Relations Association UK (PRCA) and Institute of Directors (IOD). She is also a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative-West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She is the Acting Chairman of the Oando Foundation, Board Member of Legacy Office, Advisory Board Member of Terra Kulture & Studios Limited, Advisory Member of CSR-in-Action Advocacy and Vice Chairperson of the Wiscar PR, Events and Marketing Committee.
