Beijing+25 Mentoring Programme

In partnership with UN Women Nigeria, the Beijing +25 Intergenerational Mentorship Programme is a laudable project strategically designed to provide world class, structured mentoring, reverse mentoring, cross learning, collaboration, networking and to facilitate the transfer of institutional memory and requisite leadership skills to a select group of young women activists and advocates by exposing them to a network of formidable and well accomplished older women who are ready to pass on the torch of activism and advocacy and share their wealth of knowledge and experience. Through this structured mentorship program, 25 young women had the opportunity to receive one on one mentoring from 25 mentors and also enabled them  access  various webinars and trainings that increased their capacity to carry on their activism and generate transformational results.

This collaboration is birthed from the visionary 1995 Beijing Conference and the subsequent Declarations and Platform for Action that includes the ground breaking declaration that ‘Women’s Rights are Human Rights’, by the then First Lady of the US, Senator Hilary Clinton.
